The REAL reason COINBASE was OFFLINE...!

Well most of us know that Coinbase was having massive difficulty today..
People were panicking all over the world!
There were a bunch of rumours swirling around the internet today...

The real reason was that CNBC did a feature profile on bitcoin and where to buy it..

Coinbase had over 250,000 visitors all at once... If you are not expecting that kind of traffic all at once then things can get a little out of hand.

      Probably too much traffic just like Poloniex. Time for these larger companies to upgrade their systems. You're not operating out of your garage anymore.

          Coinbase is not the only exchange that is having trouble. See my post on Bitfinex which is also have problems here.

              Thanks @smallbusiness, it's hard work getting eyeballs on your posts when the feed keep feeding with the hundreds of post a day. Even though you are being followed it pretty much depends on luck when your followers sees your post.
