  1. Banks and financial institutions are still saying that Bitcoin is going to crash. This honestly keeps sounding like a broken record. We do know this week that the CBOE is opening up their future exchange. This might shake the price of Bitcoin. We will wait and see what will happen.

  2. The next headline I have is from South Africa. The headline reads, "Bitcoin can pay traffic fines in South Africa." With an explosion in the price of Bitcoin, governments are looking at ways to make profit off the crypto currency. The government of South Africa is looking at ways to accept Bitcoin as a way for people to pay traffic fines. We will wait and see how this goes. If this goes well, we could see governments explore ways to accept tax revenue via Bitcoin.

  3. The next headline I have is about Africa in general. The headline reads, "Bitcoin Mining Uses More Power than Most African Countries. This is clearly obvious. Several countries in Africa do not boost that much of electricity. So if you sum up all the electricity used via mining companies this is a no brain-er. There is basically Bitcoin mining centers all around the world in countries like China, Russia, Venezuela, and the United States just to name a few. I think as Bitcoin gets even more popular, we are going to see more mining centers and electricity being used. I do hope African nations start to jump into this market while its still early.

  4. The next article comes from South Africa again. The title of the Article is "South Africans Riding the cryptocurrency wave." To me this is not a surprise. I wrote articles in the past on how South Africans are jumping into Bitcoin as a way to hedge against their fallen currency the Rand. Now there are a whole bunch of wealthy South Africans because they made the smart move out of the Rand due to government corruption. My personal take on this article is: Always be prepared.

  5. The next article headline is from Australia. The title of the article is "Australia and Money Laundering Laws." The government of that country is trying to enact anti-money laundering laws which to me sounds like no surprise. We will see more nations in 2018 enact KYC and AML laws.
