There ain't no such things as a free lunch

Very true. The free ones require a time investment. It may be small (30 seconds or so for an ad) but over time it adds up. I personally spend my time writing here on #Steemit and other sites, that I own, to earn money instead. Much better use of my time.

I am not saying these faucets are bad. I did a lot of them when Bitcoin was $150 or so per coin. That money sat and now is worth a lot more (the payout minimum was a lot lower back then too).

That's the truth, but you may get the odd freebie if you are lucky. There's just always a catch

These Bitminers are Scam or better said - they only pay if you upgrade and buy but usually not for free members

We live and learn. I should have done more research first.

True - was same for me - trying and seeing :-)

Without investment Eobot is very slow mining, I tried. 6 Satoshi per day

For a few dollars I get about 1c per day. Better than nothing

I signed up yesterday, using your link ;)

Not looking to make much, am more interested in playing with it.

Currently mining STEEM from my first payout on the faucet, not sure if the 5 year plan is worth it unless you have a lot to start with, so going to keep trying the 24 hour plan.

Thanks for posting your opinion, I was wondering if it would be worth it for BitMiner and StartMiner, so have been waiting for this exact post :D

I hope it works well for you. The internet is full of scams, but it can also help us find out about them. BTW You can get about 0.03 Steem per day from the Eobot faucet if you think it's worth the time.

nice post, could be a lesson for others..
god jobs @steevc. thanks :)

We need to know from others what really works. We can all learn something

yes yes, I Agree :)

Yes. Sometimes our efforts may also go waste. So we have to be careful.

This didn't cost me anything, so just a lesson learned

A lesson learned is always good.

I noticed on Eobot that they've changed the withdrawals. It seems you can withdraw any time now and the mining fees are smaller (which is smart because they'll make more with the smaller withdrawals). I have mine set to the ghs 4.0 and throw all my Doge at it once it accumulates but it's taking forever. And I don't have any referrals because my friends are dorks. LOL

I've gained a few referrals from my links here, so it's worth a try. Just need a few to actually buy some cloud mining to get something for it. You can get something each day from the faucet, but it's a tiny amount
