I was taken aback by the video. I love your liberal vibe. I could see lots of freedom in your expressions.

I'm also moving away from Fiat money and I'm all crypto now. I see Fiat money as being flawed right now and there are some people stealing wealth from everyone under its system. I mean, why would a dollar bill be worth less than it was a generation ago, when the people using those dollar bills have grown in value and quantity? Why should my value be in someone's hands (called a bank) when they can do with it as they please? My value should be mine and I should decide when, if and how it is used. It's just one of those things that doesn't feel right. 2008 was when the veil was lifted, for some at least, and the flaws became visible for a while.

Thanks for sharing this. It got me thinking :)

@stellabelle - It is an amazing coincidence that you burned a $100 bill at around the same time the Bitcoin was born. Perhaps you had a bit of a clairvoyant experience at that time
I am also wonder struck to see your creativity and passion. The face paint, hand gestures and the music all create an impact in your video. Nicely done!

I am experimenting with creativity in my blogs - from serious stuff about the meaning of Red color (and a message of unity) to funny stuff about riding hippos. However, it is all finally limited to my passion of wildlife awareness. Nowhere near as creative as you!

I like it. I also was poor and know someone who lost 30 thousand because he had lehman brothers. I didn't feel anything. Property and expensive things are terrible because you have to watch that ty don;t break or get stolen, without anything life is more natural and you only have friends who kike you for what you are.

Well, it was in 2008 that I basically lost everything including my carefree life in California by the beach. The recession changed me and it was at that time, I cashed out my 401K and began to live as a "free" artist, with emphasis on surrelism, and acting from spontaneous thought. Then I ran out of money, but you see, freedom was planted inside me in 2008, so I never forgot. It took me another 7 years to figure out how to claw my way out of the system that I felt was not made for me.

Bitcoin was just born around this same time I made this video.

I just read somewhere (can't find it right now) that Satoshi was urgently inspired to create bitcoin because of the 2008 recession.

Burning the dollar bill signified this shift in me, and oddly, I am now living without being part of the dollar economy

Just as I'm not being a part of the naira economy now.

I was poor, so i lost very little in the recession.

Nigeria is experiencing the worst form of recession and I lost almost nothing, cos I had nothing before now.

Thanks to steemit for changing the world.

I'm confused with what I just watched. However, it looked like it was great fun to shoot the music video. With everyone being so free and alive.

It seems like there are some good principles behind the music video. I can't believe you have wanted to build a new Hollywood since 2009 and now it is 2017, and you have been able to develop and grow on this amazing platform which is the beginning to a new hollywood.

Coincidentally I made a post about do you need money to be happy, and it seems like that isn't the case with you. Money doesn't drive happiness but the feeling when you accomplish your plans and desires, and that is clearly seen from how you have been preaching and discovering this new monetary system.

It seems like you were able to see the future @stellabelle since if it were me or anyone else I don't think anyone would be willing enough to burn a 100 dollar bill as we are scared into trust and getting sustenance from this failing fiat system.

In true reality, it is just paper that is continuously printed to bail banks out as well as to cover more government expenditure. The biggest person it hits is ordinary citizens like us as we have to suffer from inflation created by this.

That year, I believe, Satoshi released the White Paper......

I was going to comment that I was really surprised that you lived in Spain, (as do I) but then when I got to the end I see that it is some place in California.

because the recession made it very clear that our system is rigged. I cashed out my 401K, there were like zero jobs in Southern Cailifornia and i read about people abandoning their mansions....rich guys who lost it in the recession killed themselves. i lost everything too....but I was poor, so that wasn't much.
