Preliminary pricing for these suggest that they will not be much
cheaper and about the same hashrate, so why would you buy
them ? I would be interested to hear.

The resale value will not be there either as gamers cannot use them and miners will know they have probably been thrashed. So is this a good marketing move by AMD..... not so sure.
