Blockchain.info Is Down. Funny How This Happens Repeatedly During A Bull Run.

You know, The Dood's a bit of conspiracy theorist by nature. I have to point out, that this is becoming a recurring theme in the Bitcoin community. It seems every time the bitcoin price starts to rise and starts a nice bull run, something like this happens and either the price plummets or consumer confidence is shaken just enough to halt the price increase. I hate to say this, and I hope this turns out to be nothing, but The Dood was expecting something like this to happen. I was actually waiting for it, and I wish I would of called it with a tweet or blog post. Anyway, I'm just saying this is a hell of coincidence, now lets see how this effects the price.

Hi, I recently started to work as a curator for the Streemtrail project, taking care of the “business” category. I would suggest to make the first tag of your post (also known as main tag) “business” if you want your post to be considered for submission in that category. As more moderators will join in, there will also be subcategories, like “business/trading”, “business/bitcoin” or “business/marketing”. Also, make sure to correctly cite the source for your pictures or citations from other authors, if you want to increase your chances for submission. Thank you! Your efforts will help Steemit become clearer and stronger.

Thanks, I'll try and remember that and do it the next time :)

I'm not into conspiracies. I suspect incompetence before malice

All I know is every time bitcoin starts a nice run with an upward trend, something strange seems to happen. Either a hack or some wierd announcement that drives the price down. Really happy things worked out though and the outage didn't drive the price down. Let's see what happens if the upward trend continues.

I made a guide on how to survive this kind of problems with blockchain.info :) we need to understand that online services can go down some times. https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@manuelfr51/blockchain-info-down-but-not-the-end-of-the-world-learn-how-to-suvive-the-next-downtime
