The largest chinese search engine Baidu has launched new service based on blockchain. It is an analogue for the famous CryptoKitties. The major difference is an opportunity to breed puppies.

According to Coindesk, the new game resembles CryptoKitties but has one important difference: it is based not on Ethereum, but on a separate blockchain, named Achain. The platform Achain works in compliance with the “ForkTheory”: Achain allows developers to carry out hard forks and create new coins and tokens – by Bitcoin type. Given its own blockchain, the main blockchain will not be overpressured in case the game will become as popular as CryptoKitties.

The cryptodog service is called “Leci Gou” and can be found on the project’s website. Almost like it is in video games there are ordinary and rare puppets, unique, epic and mythical and legendary ones.

The price for “CryptoDogs” corresponds their uniqueness. Users who have Baidu accounts are provided with the opportunity to get an “initial” pet and 1000 free points to use on the market later.
