Better hope a bunch of BTC doesn't get lost forever!

At this point there isn't a ton of new btc supply left to be mined.

If a big chunk goes down with the ship, lost at sea, there is going to be a major shortage should people desire bitcoin in the future.

Whether it be for payments or for hoarding...
