I think you heard about Titan supercomputer : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titan_(supercomputer)
It has 18,688 Nvidia Tesla K20X GPUs

All GPU's would make HOURLY 0.04038072 BTC which is $106.66 today.
That gives 29.07411990 BTC mounthly which is $76,793.48.
(no power usage included)
(this is old data earnings probably changed)

Titan also has 18,688 AMD Opteron 6274 16-core CPUs
There is no data for mining with this but,
single AMD Opteron 6274 got 4865 points on PassMark (benchmark)

Titan has 40 PB Space. Which you can use for BURST COIN mining!
Hard drives would make 855210 BurstCoin per day which is $ 13887.13 today.
Which gives 25656304 Burs / $ 416,613.94 Mounthly.

Whole cost of Titan was $97 million so with only burst coin mining, hard drives would start to bring money after 19 years...

It actually happened once. This government researcher mined only 12-16 BTC before getting caught.
