Centralized or decentralized. First of all, these exchanges should take their security game more seriously - invest more time and money into becoming rock solid and almost impenetrable. Secondly, people should learn to keep their private information to themselves and stay away from phishing websites.

In the end, a decentralized exchange would be more beneficial of lower or no fees. But we still need to wait for that good "Decentralized" exchange to appear :)
