Bitcoin $7 transaction fee.. my friend recieved $0.46 worth of BTC due to fee.

So, figured I would share..

I was going to show a friend bitcoin.

I was going to send him roughly $5 worth of BTC.

He gets $0.46 worth of BTC in his account... the network took about $5 for the fee...

In my excitement I rushed and didn't notice the fee so damn hi..

What I am trying to say is, I hope new people don't get scared off by this fee...
