Australian trader lost $430,000 on BTC-e: "Everything about my fund was legal"

This week news.Bitcoin.com talked to Jack Kingston, a privately held currency dealer from Melbourne, Australia, and lost $43 million US dollars in currency on BTC-e. Mr. Kingston was surprised at the day when he tried to log in. The exchange was "under maintenance", but the Australian traders was surprised to find that the US government regarded all the users of the platform as criminals and took his money from him.

‘Can You Imagine the Horror?’

Bitcoin.com (BC): Please tell us what happened?

Jack Kingston (JK): I am trading on BTC-e, without any illegal funds. The only reason I trade on BTC-e is because it's easy. I have been in crypto currency for years, even during the Mt Gox debacle. I have an account with Poloniex, but I can not get a two-level verification, that it became difficult to get access to my funds.

I sent an Australian passport to Poloniex, which usually opens doors for me anywhere, they have my e-mail address and my address. However, 2-3 months I still had trouble with verification. This means that after depositing $400,000 to my account, I can only withdraw $2000 a day.

BTC-e is easy, this is the only reason I am trading there, the rest is a history. A lot of money came from the bunch of dash nodes. A few Dash nodes are worth a lot of money. Many traders in the trollbox are talking about selling dollars before August 1. But then the shit hit the fan, no one can do anything. This is where I found myself - can you imagine horror? This is the case when I just sold these Dash nodes and the rest of my money I had there.

BC: Are you going try to retrieve your money from the FBI?

JK: Yes, if there is a way I can get to the money. I have my email account that I can use to access my account. Then I can prove that it is my money. I do not know what I'm going to do

There is news that "the use of BTC-e users are money laundering, the news is nonsense! I do not know what kind of moron came up with this idea. BTC-e is easier to use than many other exchanges. I like to trade, I like to short Bitcoin. There should not be any problems with this

BC: Now what do you think of BTC-e?

JK: There were no issues before the FBI came along. I do not understand how the FBI can take control of my money. There are many innocent people on there that cannot access their money.

If BTC-e comes back and returns my money, I will continue to use them. After they have done everything they if want to be loyal to the customer, I will talk to them. There is no reason why I will not use them.

The Elite Want Everything

Mr. Kingston said he had little hope after BTC-e's recent announcement and kept telling me that he had no doubt about the exchange. Kingston explained that it was the US government that did not allow him to get money. At present, the US law enforcement agencies so far did not provide any information about the BTC-e confiscated "wallet" information.

Mr. Kingston told me that he regretted the negative remarks about the United States Government, but thought it was a government issue that affected all of us.

"This is not just America, but also to a large extent the whole world. This is the global government affairs. Elite wants everything, and the ordinary people suffer. Kingston added that the United States has no money.

What do you think of the Australian trader and his loss? Do you think the United States has the right to get money on BTC-e? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Oh and this is one exchange you may consider avoiding or moving away from ;)
