The goal from the very beginning by the big miners, especially the Chinese ones was to spread misinformation in order to get all the dumb money to sell their Bitcoin Cash as soon as they got it, so that they can swoop in and buy it all up on the cheap... a master play if there ever was one... pure genius actually.
