The report, published by the Next Web on August 28, states that some applications for cryptocurrency mining are still on the Google Play Market despite a ban by the technology giant.

July 27 Google officially banned any applications for the extraction of digital currency in the Play Market. The statement said: "We prohibit applications from mining the cryptocurrency on users' devices." The corporation gave the developers exactly 30 days to review the policy of their products so that the latter meet the new conditions.

The period has already expired, but some applications that support mining on the device are still available in the store. There were found 8 such applications, for example, NeoNeoMiner and Crypto Miner PRO. And Bitcoin Miner developers are not only going to leave the application on the Play Store, but even believe that it meets all the conditions of the corporation.

After MinerGate was removed from the Play Market, its owners assure that a fresh interpretation of the application does not support the intelligent mining function in order to comply with corporate rules:

"Mining the cryptocurrency on your phone is one of the main functions of our MinerGate application. With the latest update, we completely exclude this possibility due to the latest update of Google requirements. "

In April, Google also announced that they remove all extensions related to cryptocurrency, from the store for the Chrome browser. According to the corporation, none of the developers complied with the requirements. As experts say, this is a reaction to the dominance of hidden miners, including applications for mobile devices.

It is really hard to block all these apps.
