To avoid high TxFee/Conversion Fee, should I transfer large or small amount of BTC?

TXFee/Conversion Fee

These TX (transaction?) and conversion fee have taken a large chunk of my Steemit money.

There's Tx fee:

  • from Steemit to Bittrex,
  • then from Bittrex SBD converted to BTC,
  • then from Bittrex BTC to my (dispose-able) BTC address
  • then from that (dispose-able) BTC address to my coins.ph BTC address (I live in the Philippines so that's additional process).

Every process, there's TXFee and conversion fee. I forgot what that conversion fee is called. It's got something to do with "bitcoin block chain or something. Newbie problems.

Funding my Steem Dollars SBD

So the process, for me, to fund my SBD is to:

  • buy BTC on coins.ph,
  • then transfer that BTC to blocktrade,
  • then blocktrade will convert the BTC to SBD.

I'm sure there will be lots of money lost along the way, with the transaction fees and stuff.

And so to save me some coins, and save me some time, what do you suggest me to do?

Should I buy large amount of BTC or will the TXFees and Conversion Fees be more expensive if I do that?
