IS THIS THE END OF CRYPTOCURRENCY IN INDIA

in bitcon-illegal •  7 years ago  (edited)

in today's budget proposal,
arun jetlie steted that "CRYPTOCURRENCIES ARE NOT A LEGAL FORM OF TENDER OR COIN, AND NECESSARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN TO ELIMINATE THE USE OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR ILLEGITIMATE ACTIVITES."

DESPITE OF BEING SO NEGATIVE IN HIS SENTENCES, WE CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT HE ONLY SAYING, HE'LL ELIMINATE THE ILLEGAL USE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY ONLY. AND NOT SAID ANYTHING ABOUT BANNING THEM OR MAKING IT ILLEGAL.

SO ITS STILL; NOT ILLEGAL TO USE IT FOR TRADING FOR NORMAL PORPOSES.

WILL IT GET BANNED IN FUTURE???? ONLY TIME WILL TELL.

India is waiting to see what steps other countries are going to take in this regard. It is only then India will ban crypto, that to only when others ban it.
