Bitconnect continues....sort of

in bitconnect •  7 years ago  (edited)

There have been a big update on the whole Bitconnect drama

They just stated that they will buy the tokens for 150$ but only in their ICO.

So you are forced to take a major loss or continue with them.

They force "sold" you the token for 363.62 USD and now offering to buy it back at less then half the price under the condition to join the ICO....

Of course they could blame the people that they dumped their tokens and that is what caused the price to free fall but what would you expect if you make a coin useless?

They are counting on the community to keep supporting them.

I dont know what to make out of all this to be honest.

Are they trying to keep that thing going in a more legit way?

As their new project seems to be a normal exchange afaik.

So the offer is only on the table for non US residents.

I can see that this thing is coming back in kind of forced network effect as so much money is involved in this, that people will accept this.

So far I cant login into their new site and as they try to clean their image as it seems before there has nothing happend I would not trust them.

Thanks for the update..

Thanks for giving us a message about bitcoin, cryptocurrency.
Thanks.. but i feel some hasitation.Bitcoin rate is very low..😞😞😞

Really bad day for bitconnect investors, I don't think so its really work again @flipstar

What a rubbish for btc,

Thanks a lot bro...for the update

Geez I wish they would just go home and stop scamming people out of their money smdh! Honestly it's 99% the buyers fault for putting money in a coin without the proper research but I still hate seeing thieves thrive smh

yes now they are playing with peoples hopes a bit and I think they doing this to keep the price a bit stable so if they find a new idea for the coin they dont start at 0!

Who is to blame....in my case just me I bought into 99% sure it is a ponzi and blinded by greed I took the risk. I am a bit ashemed of that not because I am an idiot but also because it just fucked over my integrety I feel as to me make money there has to be another sucker.

Oh geez sorry, that was insensitive on my part. I didn't realize you put money into it!

I'm not one to talk because I've invested in a crypto Ponzi back in 2013 with the same mindset and lost two bitcoin smh But the bounce back is so real! Very happy to be involved in Steemit!

Don't worry all good. My own fault. Live and learn.

Feel free to check out my post regarding my own experience with Bitconnect here. I was not hit as hard as others but I did treat the platform very cautiously.

I am ok with posting a link to your post as it is about the same topic.

I am totally not ok with you spamming it on every bitconnect related topic and only upvoting your comment without leaving a vote for the author you are trying to piggyback on.

Remove your vote or your comment or I will downvote it 100%

Fair enough. I don't post very often so just wanted to make my post more visible by upvoting my comments. I now realize how rude this can come across. Sorry dude, really didn't mean it like that.

all good no hard feelings :-)

I never knew Bitconnect, but I only saw comment everywhere that it was a scam and apparently if they were right.
