Exchange Bithumb Starts Putting Crypto Kiosks in Resturants

One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Bithumb, has recently started a new initiative...

Bithumb is an exchange that runs out of South Korea, is the largest there, and is ranked in the top 5 for 24-hour trading volume on Coinmarketcap.com.

Bithumb Starts Stocking Restaurants With Crypto Kiosks

With mass adoption on the verge and 2018 being a great year for expansion in the cryptocurrency realm, it only makes sense that crypto then needs to be seen in the physical realm.

See one of the issues about mass adoption is that there isn't much day-to-day awareness for the cryptocurrency.

Sure you see it on the news, watch the stock channel, and hear about Bitcoin crashing every few days - but most probably don't see restaurants that accept Bitcoin, Litecoin or Etheruem and has a sign out front promoting them.

There is an issue with the ease and encounters that come with cryptocurrency...

Cash is spent everywhere all day, and credit card companies berate us with advertisements, offers, and even mail.

Cryptocurrency is decentralized thus making less of an incentive (besides changing the world) for people actively sending mail, advertising, etc.. Unless it is a malicious attempt.

Bithumb is trying to change that.

In South Korea, Bithumb is the largest exchange, and recently per a tweet from Joseph Young, we got to see a first-hand look at the kiosks:

Bithumb, South Korea's largest exchange, will supply cryptocurrency ATMs and kiosks to restaurants and cafes.

This could really fuel adoption in South Korea, especially for newcomers.

You can stare at price all day, or read about actual progress.https://t.co/SV86sQ4I11

Bithumb also released a statement on the manner saying(1):

"The entry into the kiosk business is meaningful to provide substantial benefits and low-cost rental services to small business owners. We will continue to work in various industries based on Blockchain technology, We will continue to provide opportunities to provide total solutions for small businesses through our partnership. "
Utilizing this service should draw more attention to cryptocurrency, especially in South Korea which had dealt with a lot of FUD in the past few months.

That's it for the news today,
