If you want to start mining Bitcoin you're going to have to ditch the old PC method even though you still can get Bitcoin you're just not going to get as much as if you would if you used something called an antminer. the S9 should cost about $90 a month on average in energy costs to run on a 24-hour basis you should make around $260 USD in Bitcoin. Of course results are going to vary depending on where you live and how much electricity is. but to really compete and get real coin you need an antminer. something built specifically for mining Bitcoin. it's going to be hot in the room that you put it in and it's going to be loud but the payouts will be good I vote for the antminer S9 zardoz out...
