This is great, however won't the change from open.btc to btc cause confusion for other BTC EBA holders?

    On the contrary it should cause much less confusion as it looks more like a regular exchange. Other assets like TRADE.BTC , CASH.BTC etc will still have their prefix.

      What about bitBTC --> doesn't it usually have the 'bit' hidden, potentially causing confusion between the EBA & MPA?

        No it doesn't, in the GUI it's always displayed as bitUSD.
