The problem is that the Bitshares wallet/exchange is completely unusable. You can send crypto in but it's almost imposible to get crypto out..it's like a rat trap. In addition, the platform has very thin trading/almost no liquidity so trades at market take forever to exchange. Meanwhile, anyone can take the bitshares/graphene protocol and create their own crypto. IMHO their is no value in bitshares by itself.
