very interesting, nice work friend, I wait for the next post @rubicon1

A keen insight and deep dissection of the trends to see in the nearest future.. But do you feel some Ethereum forks could help averting the problems you forecast @rubicorn1

I think Ethereum is going to have a tough time meeting demand in the face of other systems designed to meet the demand from the ground up. I'm personally having a lot of trouble with stuck or cancelled transactions on Ehtereum and find myself looking for alternatives. Vitalik has stated that he would like to keep it so all nodes can run on a laptop so a transition to any sort of master nodes appear to be out. I see the road to anything scalable for Ethereum taking years and in crypto that might as well be an eternity.

We keep our fingers crossed and see how the ecosystem unfolds.

I have some questions regarding bitshares . Is there any way we can arrange a chat? Thank you

What are your questions?

  1. I have noticed that after a short period of buying an bitusd there is a settle time and i can't understand what that means.
  2. Do we gain any dividend by holding bit assets ?

The following link describes bit assets best:
https://bitshares.org/technology/price-stable-cryptocurrencies/

Look at the "Introducing SmartCoins" and "the Long (BitUSD holder)" sections.
You can typically sell your BitUSD on the open market for about a dollar or slightly above. If liquidity is poor you can force settle for $1.00 and this will take an hour or less to perform.

There are several bit Assets that offer returns.

Thank you :)

Great Podcast. 2018 is the year that BitShares lands on the moon.

800k transactions per sec? Government grants? Does those parameters guarantee progress. Thanks for sharing @rubicon1
