I moved to Hive. You can read all my content there.
Due to a sad series of events steem is no longer decentralized nor censorship-resistant.
I don't know how it will look like in the future but right now it's more like a personal database than a proper blockchain.

So tell me, what is this "bitwalking wallet" about? An App that gets you bitcoins while you walk? When that is the case, what is the business case, it I may ask?

Hey :)
I think Bitwalking will be very sucessful or will vanish just like that.
The app is a wallet that counts your steps and converts the distance walked into a cryptocurrency called walking dollars (W$)

The underlying idea is to help poor countries.
As they say, labor conditions and wages are very different from place to place but everybody can walk. It's fair to have a currency that pays for a task that everyone can do anywhere.

I have it more or less explained here:

There have been some fund raising and interested investors but I guess the difficulty will be to design a scheme where the merchants clearly benefit. The few news from the team are not encouraging. I expected constant feedback and reports as usually happens when a project is doing well.

Interesting. Will test this and look further into this coin, vision and service for sure.
