This is a ditch attempt to curb my pessimism for a moment.
Have any of you said anything about Ledell Lee? Can somebody at least say that he or she knows who he was?
I have dozens, if not hundreds of ardent supporters of Black Lives Matter on my feed. I have dozens if not hundreds of people who are calling for defunding or even abolishing the police on my feed. I have hundreds of people on my feed talking in favor of Critical Race Theory and purporting the narrative of systemic racism.
To my knowledge, I'm the only person in my social circle who has said Ledell Lee's name.
Please prove me wrong.
This is a guy whose murder by the state wasn't via a cop losing it. It was a product of the system that is fixable and easily changed by reasonable people.
I know nobody who seems to care that a likely innocent man was killed by the state after a DA to refused to look at new evidence.
You have no credibility if you're marching in the streets for George Floyd and you have never said Ledell Lee's name.
