Beleive it or not an actual Black Panther doesn't exist but are large cats that are black such as Black Leopards and Black Jaguars or possibly other types of large cats that are black. The video on this page has a good explanation of what Black Panthers are and why.

The big cats are so impressive. They just have some kind of presence that is awe inspiring. I wouldn't like to encounter one in the wild though. I'd be so scared. And it's sad to see them caged in a zoo. Better to not see them at all - except for the occasional photo from a wildlife photographer.
