I've decided to give it a day on my character. I found a hard issue with #Blender, where Local and Global transforms are not clear as to which space an object rotates, also local Euler is just a euphemism and will still stick to a global quaternion. This means, my wrist and forearm twist solution will have to wait... it's currently not robust enough for all arm movements.
