Every day Marks who we are with our actions. Our actions define us. We are given a special opportunity every day to be the change in the world would like to see. Once upon a time there was a boy named John also known as the boy from Troy. He was inspired by a man named King. It was the 1960s and there was revolution in the air. The hippies were taking to the streets and the war in Vietnam was heating up. The global capitalists were fighting for their stake. With the passing of some shady legislation on the part of Nixon and his friends we find ourselves at the hands of the lobbyists once again. Freedom comes in many forms and the boy from Troy while he knew it. Not Only was he fighting against the capitalist nature that brought his black skin here and what not. Today the struggle goes on and it matters not the pigment in your skin we can all find ourselves to be slaves at the hands of the capitalist once again. The struggle goes on with its peaks and downs Black Lives Matter don’t you be a clown. Edmund Pettus Bridge the gap and 50 years later we are all looking at that. Freedom has a cost and this is our D-Day time to take the streets peacefully in the name of liberty. Be the change in the world that you want to see. Today we send off John Lewis as you have earned your wings the world is lesser without the boy from Troy.
