Last week was very hectic for me and I found myself posting less. 2018 is the year of the Blockchain for Africa and I and a group of people from all parts of the Blockchain are working on bringing something truly amazing to Africa via the Blockchain
Steemit is experiencing an all time high when It comes to Value and presence of Humans as the various front end projects of the Steem Blockchain like Dtube and Utopian are doing the best they can in bringing intellectuals form all walks of life to the Steem Blockchain
Last weeks posts explained the need to be steadfast in adopting everything that the Blockchain has to offer
The first post of last week was titled On Your Marks: The 2018 Blog Development Challenge Begins
In this post I explained the Importance of starting 2018 on the right foot. This is a time to take stock of the things you will need to excel in this year and run with it
It has been said that January is the month the month of foundation. It is what you do this month that determines how the year will turn out
Steemit is becoming more interesting as the days go by and it is easy to get lost in the Platform as there are a lot of things happening. You need to develop focus adn know the daily actions you have to take so you wont get lost

Well said sir, we seem too comfortable listening and reading motivational contents that we ignore the educative aspect of it....
I believe motivation without education is fuel without vehicle, thank you for this sir.

It is a good thing that you decided to add another flavour to the list of spicy contents you give your readers.
I believe we will have lots to benefit in earnest. Well done bro.
The second post of last week was titled Introducing SPIEL By Cryptogene: A Decentralized Knowledge Economy
SPIEL is an amazing blockchain Project that I believed was inspired by Steemit. SPIEL enables you to create online courses and get paid when people take those courses
It is something I believe will change the Face of online Education as it brings an amazing incentive to educationists and learners alike
The post also explained the process involved in creating an online course and the need to create something that will really appeal to people and make the maximum Impact

Truly our educational system is really old and this SPIEL offers a great turn around for education entirely. The chat area is what I really like..
A situation where the teacher does not look like a king and the student mere servants. It got me thinking of the part of scriptures where Jesus told his disciples that He no longer calls them servant, But friends.
My only issue is; will a country like ours with its slow pace of adjustments to modern day education be able to tap from this quickly? Thanks for the research @ogochukwu.

I have a first hand experience of "broadcast" teaching, where the institution and teachers are the final say.
I am in my final year now also in a well respected university in Nigeria, and we were just introduced to a new computer course which is not even helpful to knowing about the current development in ICT.
Countries that excel in their educational system like south Korea or Finland, emphasizes more on interest than they do on test.. For instance, in Korea, pupils don't write exam until they are in grade 4 or so, this they say is done so as to not scare kids away from school. Finland designed their school system to fit interest and not to test.
We need more educational programs like SPIEL ,futurelearn.com, steemit.com. Etc Thanks @ ogochukwu
The third post of the week was titled SOLA: A New Way To Pay Attention
SOLA is a social media site which like Steemit that rewards users for their activities . It is like a Mash Up of Instagram and Twitter and it is very easy to use
It has an easy user interface and there is a clear guide of how things works. It makes use of Algorithms to decide the which kind of content that gets more exposure. There is no follow function and the only way for you post to be more visible to others is if it get more votes or endorsement
There is also a prioritize function that serves as a form of compensation for the lack of follow function. The content from an account you prirotize shows up more on your feed
The currency of the SOLA blockchain is called SOL and it is currently trading on Etherdelta
IF you are interested in joining SOLA. Click Here

I love the fact that you just brought us up to speed regarding the new face of social media. Personally i have reduced the time i spend on Facebook and converting that to steemit.
But as a newbie, i'll want to take some time to build up some reputation here before diversifying. But whenever it's time for me to come on board Sola, i'll definitely use the link you just shared. Thanks for sharing

Like I always say, 2018 is going to be so fantastic in innovations and breaking of new grounds, compared to 2017. We should fasten our seat belt. I noticed your reduced activity too, and I thought offline must've gotten pretty hectic. Good to see you around. Steem on.

2018 promises to be very Interesting as there are a lot of amazing things coming up.
It is not a year of only posting to earn. It is a year of development and giving back. We have to put Africa on the Blockchain Map.
