It is true fact that today almost in every sector we use biometric authentication system which are healthcare, banking, data storage, police, organisations, institutions, government and even in smartphones. Today almost everyone is now familiar with biometric security system.
Problems
There are many authentication methods present today but none of them are perfect. Every identification and authentication systems have certain problems, let's consider some of them here:
• The most common method of authentication is password, we use it for login purpose. It needs to be entered every time for login. But it is the most inefficient way of protecting the data. There is a high probability that this password information may be get lost or get stolen by someone;
• Second method is an authentication device which generates random access key everytime for further proceedings during login. It is also may get lost or stolen by hacker;
• third one is the most popular method of protection system which is fingerprint. It provides high accuracy in authentication through biometric data. It is highly reliable but there is a high chance that it can be lost, stolen or can be replaced;
• fourth method of protection is by human DNA. This method has high accuracy and reliability. But it is very expensive and complex to use;
• fifth one is through voice recognition. But it is not as effective as other methods, as it is easy to substitute and unsafe to use for protection;
• sixth one is through iris method, it provides high accuracy in protection. But this also be easily substituted;
• last one is by facial recognition through camera and by hand geometry. Even these methods can also be easily substituted;
Today there is high demand for a perfect authentication system which can provide high level of protection. Thanks to SABI project team, they are working very hard to achieve this.
About the project
The main aim of the System of Adaptive Biometric Identification (SABI) project is to create a universal system for authentication and identification. This system uses a special electromagnetic imprint of a person based on cell structure, nervous system and cardiovascular system through non contact probing by low intensity rays.
This method of authentication is very unique and not at all dangerous to humans. As the electromagnetic waves used are of very low intensity that we regularly get surrounded with it such as WiFi and cellphone signals etc.
