Global REIT - A Real Estate Solution For Everyone

An investment opportunity is really not much of an opportunity if it doesn't appeal to the target market, and for every blockchain venture to be successful it has to be welcome by the crypto community and also the actors in the niche the project is entering.

Global REIT entering into the real estate market through the blockchain means, for it to be a successful platform it has to be accepted by the main actors of the cryptocurrency and real estate market. These actors can be narrowed down into three main groups;

What Do The Actors Of The Ecosystem Stand To Benefit?

Cryptocurrency Investors: Crypto Investors can be split broadly into two distinct groups, which are day traders and long-term investors. The day traders seek short-term gains by taking risks of trading in the fluctuation and volatility of the daily crypto market, while the long-term investors are comfortable to Hodl their tokens for a long period of time and reap rewards from the increase in the value of their tokens over time. The thing this two groups of people have in common is the fact that, they invest in cryptocurrencies with the desire to make money. 

Global REIT provides a platform that presents opportunities for both groups of cryptocurrency investors to make good returns on invested funds both in the short term and long term. With Global REIT, investors that seek short-term gain can be ready assured as they will receive monthly dividends through the platform without having to take the risk of losing their funds. Long-term investors will also reap the monthly dividends while they watch the value of their tokens increase along with the value of the assessment they represent.

Assets can easily be sold or purchased using the Global REIT platform because this platform is open to virtually anybody in the world meaning liquidity will come easily.

Already Established REITs: The Global REITs platform is going to be an open source system and it will offer opportunities for the traditional REITs to use the platform as a means of expanding their business. These interactions will be monitored by smart contracts to ensure fairness in transactions among different parties and the transactions on the platform will be done in GREM and GRET tokens.

Example Use Case:

Mr. David is a cryptocurrency investor that is always seeking opportunities for credible investments and a way to make some steady income. Miss Fiona is an independent owner of a real estate asset but is posed with a problem of liquidity for the asset. This two different set of people who are anonymous from each other could actually indirectly exchange value to meet each other's needs through the Global REIT platform without anyone of them having to worry about being ripped off by the other party.

Mr. David subscribes for GREM and GRET tokens on the platform, saying in either BTC or ETH, by doing this he has entrusted Global REIT with is tokens for investment purposes. Miss Fiona's asset has been made available by her on the platform.

Global REIT then analyzes Miss Fiona's asset, and then invest in it, if it fits the criteria for the kind of asset that the platform Invests in. The results are Mr. David gets to earn monthly dividends on his tokens use in investment on the platform while Miss Fiona's will be able to get the much-needed liquidity for her asset as it is easily sold on the platform without depreciation in its value. Everyone wins.
