The technology of the internet has been first introduced to the world in 1960. It was named ARPANET and created by the U.S. Department of Defense. From that time this tech has evolved so much and now we have our current internet technology. Without this technology, we can not think about a digital way of life. It became an essential element like food and water in our life. We are dependent on this technology so much that many of our daily life work can not be done without it. So there is no way we can avoid this technology.
We have seen much evolution on the internet and this will evolve more in the future. So let me introduced you guys to a new evolution of internet service today. Today I will talk about a project called JCAS.
Introduction
JACS means just another communication stack. They aim to change the current data network work. We are talking about internet 3.0 decentralize infrastructure here. JACS is trying to make a new era of the internet by combining blockchain technology with connectionless network services. They have a very unique system that is similar lathe to the current IP address.
Why we need JACS?
Current internet system use IPv4 address for surfing over the internet. There are 4.3 billion IPv4 addresses available and that is not enough. But that demands are increasing so there needs to be a solution to this. JACS has the solution to that problem and there will be enough addresses for every people on the planets. JACS will create a unique address worldwide and it will be distributed in a decentralized way so they don’t need to top authority to maintain it. They are using blockchain technology to do that. Address allocation will be decentralized like inBlock.
Is that secure?
I have already told you guys JACS is building a unique infrastructure where the best security will be provided. You have already know previous BGP hijacking. Blockchain-based JACS address allocation, address registry, routing origin verification, and validation system will prevent any possible BGP hijacking. That means users will get a secure internet routing system. Also, JACS will provide a blockchain-based VPN to its early adopters for tunneling data into packets that are not characterized by the traditional current internet addresses.
So that means JACS is secure than our traditional Internet services.
JACS is the new internet
The ultimate goal of JACS is to change the system of worldwide internet services by creating a unique address for all. But we can not replace the current system with just a single click. It’s a massive and slow process thats why JACS will first replace IP address that means internet protocol address to CLNP that means Connectionless Network Protocol. By doing this JACS address will replace the IP address. JACS do not want to touch the existing internet so they are using blockchain and some other mechanisms to deal with this process.

This is an era of science and technology. In science nothing is constant and every discovery throws away old ones. JACS is the new internet. So slowly this will replace our current internet system and the world will adopt it for their own benefits. So I think it’s our chance to be part of the evolution.
