SuperEx’s DAO Governance in Decentralized Web 3.0

Transition from Web 2.0
While we read articles about web 3.0, we could frequently stumble upon a term called “decentralization”. So what is decentralization? Generally, decentralization is the dispersion or distribution of functions and powers, decentralization of powers specifically, government, the delegation of power from a central authority to regional and local authorities; Decentralization is the core value of the Web 3.0. Web 3.0 provides access to connected data in a decentralized way, different from Web 2.0, which primarily stores data in centralized servers. Today’s most frequently used apps and platforms are vivid examples of Web 2.0 networks. Someone who registered on Instagram will post a content and gain followers on the Instagram page. If the user wants to take the data to another platform, that is not technically plausible since the user data is stored on a centralized server. All the platforms are isolated from each other, you could share Spotify music on Instagram, but you cannot move your data from Spotify to another network. Web 2.0 is highly centralized, each platform entails certain regulations, and users need to submit an agreement before registering on the platform, which gives lawful access to the platform to manipulate user data without the user’s permission. What kind of user data is used or sold by the platform to any other third party remains unknown. The hegemony of Web 2.0 leaves the ultimate power to the platform rather than distributing the power to the users. Especially after the platform gathers a massive user base, the platform makes most of the changes based on its own strategy without considering mass users’ user experience. Therefore, the users couldn’t suddenly decide to leave the platform while the contents and communities they have involved were still there in the platform, so they are highly likely to adjust themselves to the new policies.

Core Value of Web 3.0
However, the decentralized web 3.0 could not do things in this way. On the blockchain, transaction verification and recording are immediate, permanent and cannot be tampered with. The ledger is distributed across several nodes, meaning the data is replicated and stored instantaneously on each node across the system. The user could overview any transaction made on the blockchain by using hash value or the wallet address. The whole transitioning reforms the technologies used in the web 2.0 and deploys the optimized system from web 2.0 to web 3.0. The blockchain runs equitably for every user since there is no central authority. Web 3.0 is conceptualized as giving ownership of data back to users through decentralized systems. The promise of Web 3.0 is building new web protocols and infrastructure that should allow developers to build apps and users to own their data without tiding it up to the specific platform. A decentralized web relies on to peer-to-peer network based on a community of users. The community is interconnected. The DAO concept was introduced from the regard of making a decentralized community which could involve in the process of decision making or decentralized governance in the project community. Decentralized web 3.0 is free from centralized authority, but anarchy brings chaos. The project network will be operated by different devices and run by different nodes distributed worldwide. The DAO governance will vote for the major changes over the project policy and community rules. Censorship would not be easy like in the previous one of web 2.0 in which the project body one-sidedly restricts someone. Censoring someone who harmed the community would be a collective decision made by voting of the DAO members.

SuperEx DAO Governance
Under Web 3.0, SuperEx spares no effort to build up its solid DAO governance. As we discussed the decentralized power of web 3.0, some may concern about the exploitablity of the network in a decentralized environment. However, the basic technological ground of Web 3.0 does not allow any monopoly. That’s one of the merits of Web 3.0 as well. SuperEx DAO will be a community-led body with no central authority. It is fully self-governed and transparent; SuperEx DAO policies lay the foundational rules, execute the agreed-upon decisions, proposals, voting, and even the project can be publicly audited. ET tokens will be a pass in the SuperEx DAO governance, empowering the DAO members with voting rights. SuperEx will also establish a fund for DAO governance to pour a certain part of their quarterly revenues into the fund, to ensure the stable incentive supply of the DAO members. The fund for DAO governance is a vital strategy of SuperEx which spurs the decentralization of the project to leave ultimate power to the community itself. The whole incentive mechanism helps the project to march towards the Web 3.0 era confidently. The fund will perfectly meet the demand of the DAO communities from different countries and regions. The DAO fund is not limited to incentives, it could be used for localization of the project to empower the different communities around the globe, or it can be used to purchase ET. As long as the DAO communities reach the consensus, then it can be used for other purposes as well.

SuperEx DAO Protocol
Ultimately, SuperEx DAO will be governed entirely by its community members based in different countries who collectively make critical decisions about the project’s future, such as voting for a proposal or a decision over the community rules.

Generally speaking, DAO community members will be creating proposals about the future operations of the SuperEx and then come together to vote on each proposal. Proposals that achieve some predefined levels of consensus are then accepted and enforced by the rules instantiated within the SuperEx plans.

Large corporations’ familial hierarchical structures give way to community collaboration under this framework. Each individual member of the SuperEx DAO oversees the protocol at some level.

Elegant part of this framework is the alignment of incentives. It is in the individual’s best interest to be forthright in their voting and only to approve proposals that serve the best interest of the SuperEx community.

A healthy, robust SuperEx DAO governance will garner more usage and, in turn, increase the value of the tokens of which each DAO member is in possession. So as the DAO performs well, so does ET which will subsequently benefit the token holders.

SuperEx DAO, on the other hand, involve a set of people interacting with each other according to self-enforcing project policies. Keeping the network safe and governing the SuperEx project community is rewarded from the DAO fund. SuperEx blockchain and DAO governing protocols hereby reduce costs of management at higher levels of transparency, aligning the interests of all stakeholders by the consensus rules tied to the ET tokens. Individual behaviour is incentivized with DAO fund to collectively contribute to a common goal. A legal entity does not bind members of a SuperEx DAO together. Instead, they are steered by incentives tied to the DAO fund and fully transparent rules that are written into the DAO protocols, which are enforced by consensus made by the DAO community itself. There are no bilateral agreements. There is only one governing protocol of the DAO community– regulating the behaviour of all SuperEx community members.
