Privacy vs. Convenience

in blockchain •  7 years ago

I saw a video on Youtube about a paying with your face. We are heading to a point where one day we go in a store, grab what we needs and walk out. No cashier no line. Using blockchain technology and facial recognition software that link your face to wallet address would make this possible. A few year ago you only find this kind of thing in movies. There are cameras everywhere now a day that like it or not you are being watch.

How do you feel about this?

I don't like it. Not just for the privacy implications, but for security, too. Face recognition is terrible for security because your face can be captured anywhere now, and that's besides all the pictures you post of yourself online.
