3 Crypto Currency To Watch In 2018
Hello steemit friends!
Another year is about to pass and the crypto universe is only going to get crazier as we enter in to 2018. After seeing massive gains across the crypto coin markets, we believe 2018 will be the year of value investing. Finding coins that will rise above the rest and entrench themselves as leaders in this volatile market. Here is our three picks for 2018 at blockchainexperts and reasons why we chose them in no particular order. Wishing you all the best in the New Year……
SALT (SALT)
The SALT Lending Platform allows holders of blockchain assets to leverage their holdings as collateral for cash loans. SALT is the first asset-backed lending platform to give blockchain asset holders access to liquidity without them having to sell their tokens. SALT provides investors with an innovative and secure opportunity to lend against a high-growth asset class through a fully-collateralized debt vehicle. SALT is traditional lending secured by non-traditional collateral.
We’ll be watching SALT closely here at blockchainexperts specifically in the first part of 2018. SALT lending just went live as of Dec 27th 2017. Issuing a few loans to a small group of members to begin with and hope to have over $10m in loans by the end of 2018. They will then roll out their platform in stages expecting between $50-75m by the end of January 2018. With a large backlog of people on their waiting list and an endless supply of hodl’ers not wanting to give up their precious crypto. SALT looks to be an exciting coin not only in the short term but well beyond if they can continue to grow as the crypto market begins to expand into everyday living.
Ethereum (ETH)
Ethereum is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts: applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third party interference.
These apps run on a custom built blockchain, an enormously powerful shared global infrastructure that can move value around and represent the ownership of property.
While currently Bitcoin may be king, Ethereum might have something to say about that in the long run. 2017 was the year of Bitcoin but we believe a new name with rise to the top in 2018. As of the end of December there are 1369 crypto currencies listed on Coin Market Cap and the number continues to rise daily. We at blockchainexperts believe Ethereum will show itself as the cream of the crop. With Ethereum’s open-source networks and smart contracts it has shown itself as the superior blockchain network and the go to for ico’s. While up and coming EOS is said to be the Ethereum killer we think there is more than enough room in the block chain space for both. The fact that EOS is still in development and hasn’t been released gives Ethereum time to work out the “Cryptokitty” kinks and we believe they have the best development team in the business to do so. Look for the Ethereum to Bitcoin price gap continue to close in the new year.
Verge (XVG)
Verge Currency is a cryptocurrency designed for everyday use. It improves upon the original Bitcoin blockchain and aims to fulfill its initial purpose of providing individuals and businesses with a fast, efficient and decentralized way of making direct transactions while maintaining personal privacy.
Last but not least we have Verge. This coin has multiple things we like about it and and we’re betting it only continues to climb in price as we jump into a new year. With excellent community bases found on Telegram, Reddit and of course our favourite steemit it has some massive trading volume to go along with it. If your like us and believe the demand for anonymous coins grows in 2018 then this is the coin for you. With payment privacy as its centre focus and having transactions completely untraceable we believe it can fill a gap in the crypto coin privacy market.
