This time, smart contract auditing firm BlockSec prevented hackers from stealing $5 million worth of cryptocurrency from decentralized lending protocol ParaSpace.
BlockSec detected the hack and quickly modified the protocol to prevent the hacker from liquidating the stolen crypto assets.
Interestingly, after the hackers failed to steal the funds, they left an on-chain message asking BlockSec to return a portion of the gas costs spent during the hack.
