Scammers are manipulating Twitter's URL system to impersonate popular crypto accounts and promote fake giveaways, wallet-draining websites, and scammy Discord channels.

These scam URLs look legit but redirect to unrelated accounts, often with usernames featuring a company name and 5 digits.

While Twitter won't likely fix this "feature," be cautious: always check the actual account before clicking suspicious links, especially on mobile.
