CNN - Bitcoin scam: Kroger confirms press release was faked

Kroger explained that the press release about accepting Bitcoin Cash in their stores this holiday season was a scam.

This makes Kroger the second major retailer to be the victim in a crypto scam.

Bitcoin Cash is a fork of Bitcoin created in 2017 and is an initiative of a small group of Bitcoin miners based in China.
