One of the hot wallets of cryptocurrency exchange AscendEX has been hacked and about $77 million worth of cryptocurrency has been stolen.
However, all affected users will be completely reimbursed, AscendEX says. They also said they will work closely with law enforcement and forensic companies to locate the stolen assets.
In the meantime, assets that were not stolen have been transferred to cold wallets during the investigation.
