Tay wrote that those affected by this hack were users of all wallets, including those created with hardware wallet.

How this hack was carried out remains unknown, but what all victims seem to have in common is that the wallets were created between 2014 and 2022, Tay explained.

Finally, to mitigate the risk of losing all assets, users are advised to spread their assets across different wallets.
