According to the FBI, CISA, and the U.S. Treasury Department, North Korean hackers are targeting various blockchain and cryptocurrency industries, including crypto exchanges and venture capital funds with large amounts of cryptocurrency or NFTs.
The U.S. government has warned that hackers known as Lazarus Group are using a trojanized cryptocurrency application.
To support the North Korean regime, these hackers allegedly continue to steal funds by exploiting vulnerabilities in cryptocurrencies, games, and exchange companies.
