Dudgeon invested nearly £100,000 in cryptocurrency and oil price leverage after seeing an ad promising huge profits.

But when he wanted to withdraw the money, someone claiming to be from the Blockchain.com asked him to pay £34,000 to Coinbase first.

Then the person who claimed to be from the Blockchain.com asked again for £18,000 for capital gains tax, which also had to be paid to Coinbase to receive the money.

Beware of too good to be true investments!!
