206,809 Binance coins worth $80 million were hacked from Qubit Finance, a DeFi platform for lending and guessing the price of cryptocurrencies.
The next day, hackers were contacted by Qubit and offered a reward to return the stolen money.
However, it seems that the initial offer was rejected as the reward was raised to $1 million.
Basically, the attackers took advantage of a bug in Qubit's code to withdraw the token on the Binance smart chain, even though no token was stored in Ethereum.
