Wired - Crypto Buyers Beware: 1 in 4 New Tokens of Any Value Is a Scam

Chainalysis found that of the 1 million crypto tokens created in 2022, only 9,902 gained value.

And about a quarter of these 9,000 more new crypto tokens fooled buyers within a week of their release.

This Chainalysis investigation focused on pump-and-dump schemes run by the token creators themselves.

Beware of this kind of fraudulent new tokens!!
