CrowdStrike and SentinelOne said last week that the 3CX installer software, used by 600,000 organizations worldwide, has been compromised by North Korean hackers.
The hacker's code is hidden in this installer of VoIP app and is intended to break into some cryptocurrency companies.
However, Tom Hagel said that given the hundreds of thousands of potential victims, one cannot conclude that only cryptocurrency companies were targeted.
Beware of 3CX software!!
