Cargill the American agricultural company is trying out a blockchain platform to track turkey products.

It was launched before Thanksgiving, Cargill's Honeysuckle White brand will use the blockchain. The company added that turkeys that are set to be tracked will be primarily sold in Texas.

Farms in Cargill's network will use their blockchain application that will let costumers discover data about the turkeys, including photos and where they were raised.

When a consumer buys the turkey, a label on the package will include a code, where the customer can then enter on the Honeysuckle White website.
