Blockchain Trends for 2018

in blockchain •  7 years ago

Fascinating article detailing the trends and possibilities for decentralized networks in 2018 including: more advanced education/consulting for professionals in law and business to understand the implications of blockchain for their respective fields; greater control of online identities instead of reliance on third parties (like Facebook) and therefore more directly reap the rewards for their data and creations; companies will offload more basic track and trace software onto the blockchain for improved transparency, the legal profession will need a better understanding of computer science to navigate digital law and smart contracts; new open source projects will be monetized and incentivized evermore with diverse tokens;

the internet of value (transactional exchanges of money/credit/tokens) at lightning speed will continue to explode and replace snail transfer/holds/and clearance delays; government to government and government to citizen contracts and laws will be extremely cheap, more straightforward, and easier to comply with via blockchain; cellphone wallets will continue a dramatic increase; "stablecoins" will be used as hedges to provide more stable value estimates in a volatile cryptocurrency market; continued evolution of financial markets/indices for digital assets; blockchain to advance towards $2 trillion by 2019.

These are a few of the points I gleamed and hope worded correctly, for more info review new article at:
