J.P. Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon regrets calling Bitcoin a “fraud”, yet not interested in cryptocurrency!

JP Morgan Chase Chairman & CEO Jamie Dimon seems to have change in opinion about Bitcoin. He's reported to regret his previous comment on cryptocurrency. "I regret making" that comment, he said in an interview with FOX Business.Jamie said

“The bitcoin to me was always what the governments are gonna feel about bitcoin as it gets really big, and I just have a different opinion than other people. I'm not interested that much in the subject at all.”

As reported earlier, JPMorgan Chase Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon said Bitcoin is a "fraud" that "won't end well." "If you're stupid enough to buy Bitcoin, you'll pay the price for it one day," added Dimon in September 2017. Just after the release of this statement ,there was a dip in the price of BTC on September 15 and the JP Morgan team of buyers reported to purchase the most XBT notes.While he may not have much interest in the subject, yet he seems to have believe in the underlying technology - the blockchain. He said,

“The blockchain is real. You can have crypto yen and dollars and stuff like that. ICO's you have to look at individually”.

Bitcoin price has reached close to $20K in Dec 2017. Currently it is price over $14800 with a market cap of over $249 Billion as per coincarketcap.

I don't beleive for a second that he isn't inherintly interested in cryptocurrency. Sure he isn't personally interested, but you bet your bottom dollar his peers and his firm are interested. The only reason traditional financial investors aren't head over heels is mainly because of crypto coins volatility. Once more hedges and futures markets, etc. come into play, then you'll see a shift in the tides.
