What is HL7?
Health Level 7 or HL7 is one of the hospitality systems that have standards focus on the application layer, which is layer 7 in the OSI model. The HL7 standards are produced by the Health Level Seven International and are adopted by other standards issuing bodies such as America and other healthcare provider organizations. HL7 Typically have many different computer systems used for everything from billing records to patient tracking. All of these systems should communicate with each other (or "interface") when they receive new information, or when they wish to retrieve information, but not all do so.
What is blockchain?
The blockchain is a distributed system recording and storing transaction record. More specifically, blockchain is a shared, immutable record of peer-to-peer transactions built from linked transaction blocks and stored in a digital ledger. Blockchain relies on established cryptographic techniques to allow each participant in a network to interact. In a blockchain system, there is no central authority instead transaction record is stored and distributed to all network participants. Interactions with the blockchain become known to all participants and require verifications by the network before the information is added, enabling trustless collaboration between network participants while recording in immutable audit trail all interactions.

The 7 Layers in HL7 actually are on the left side of the scheme and we are configurated into blockchain technology in the right side, which has more padding in the communication system is security and authorization. We are believed that this two adding will give more power and trust to the people who used to be. For example, there is a person who has sick and goes to Hospital B. B hospital will ask about medical history but can A hospital give all off that? In this basic problems can be solved by involving blockchain technology by giving a more trust in the system of HL7.
This is our minds, we can use HL7 to transfer and exchange detailed information with other systems. The computational processing of all data improves the availability of medical information.
This is easy to develop interface system with standardized medical data code. Systematic system configuration makes system maintenance easy. Trustless, It is possible to communicate medical information with enhanced security.
Healthcare organizations and their system have a nagging problem. Like our example before, therefore we are sure that this must be change! Patient information has to be communicated between the different hospital system and stakeholders in a consistent, secure way while maintaining patient privacy. Most of us might say, we have HL7 and HIPAA to cover this. but here is are the key challenge, about HL7 standards which means only organizations and system that implement it according to the guidelines will be able to understand each other only if the interpretation and implementations match, Not all person in countries have some format of HL7 so it could not be operationalized to sharing their medical information in secure fashion, and HL7 still have a slow access. Therefore we discuss this that the opportunity will be capabilities, especially that can be applied to the medical part.
The thing of blockchain as a distributed database where each party on the blockchain has access to all information, no single party controls the information. Every party can verify or validate information for its transactions on its own without an intermediary. The Peer-to-Peer communication between nodes occurs directly instead of going through a central server, Each transaction in the system is visible to everyone who has access to the system, Blockchain application states and transaction is one of the greatest advantages of blockchain technology is, the system can keep the history of each transaction which means the state of an application running on a blockchain can be stored and monitored. The technology in blockchain enables it to keep all the transactions immutable, which means any transaction in blockchain cannot be manipulated without breaking the entire chain.
ANET mind that blockchain will Disrupt The Medical Protocol! Yes! Now is a good timing that we can make do the MOU with the one of a big company in the medical part which is GEMSS Solution. We are noticed and known well that there are so many concepts and idea about blockchain in medical part, and we do so agree about how to involved the blockchain technology into this medical part. Although there are some incredibly exciting ways of blockchain to exchange for a medical part, in this cases we also had an interesting in insurance fields. Who can guess how any data in that field? But can we think in a simple that how can that data can be shared into the other land?
ANET BLOCKCHAIN.Inc & GEMSS Solutions Join Venture!
Blockchain technology firm ANET has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GEMSS Solution an expert hospital information system (HIS) company who based on overseas markets on the technical capabilities, to allow changes the medical information protocol into Blockchain technology. The one of a system will be involved with is a HL7, this is a set of international standards for the transfer of clinical and administrative data between software application used by various healthcare providers.
This part will be enlarging into south-east Asia in the future plans. Looked in the deep due to our business partners map road, that blockchain technology can be mixed up into the hospitality information system which is HL7 that we are going to prove. The last, we are hoping that this opportunity between ANET and GEMSS Solution will run as soon, and to give more trust in medical fields.
