We humans must always be cautious of the medicines that we are taking. We must ensure that it is safe and in order to do that there's a lot of factors to be considered and one of it is the authenticity of the drug. Counterfeit/Fraud/Fake drugs are being widespread in the market today and they can even be purchased online and the most alarming part is that many consumers are unknowably using these products. I think this is really considered dangerous because these drugs might not undergo a proper pharmaceutical process or didn't even bother to follow the legal requirements of producing a drug.

Counterfeiters are really good at forging medicinal drugs. They do well in making "copy-cat" medicines from well-known pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers. People behind this act can actually be considered as criminals in the society because they have killed millions of people across the globe. They are only after the profit and doesn't really care about the safety of the people.

Good thing blockchain is slowly introducing its entry in the pharmaceutical industry which is of great help I must say. Through this, data that is being entered and recorded can be shared from one health organization to the other which makes it harder or impossible to falsify datas that are in the system.
