Guys, we are happy to announce that from 16.12.2019 the Torrent node is open for tests! Now every member of #MetaHash community can try it without any restrictions. Don’t forget that Service Torrent node won’t receive a reward until the end of tests (10.01.2020).

Requirements for the Service Torrents are the same as for Infrastructure Torrents. The Soft and Hard Caps of the new role are set at 500 000 and 20 000 000 #MHC, while the Seed, the minimum of the server’s own capital needed to let the server be qualified for the node’s role, is fixed at 100 000 #MHC.
To qualify for a role, besides meeting the Caps requirements, the node’s owners need to run a test of hardware and internet capacity. The minimum hardware requirements are set as 6 core 2.30GHz, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, though recommended ones are 8 core 2.30GHz, 32 GB RAM, and 500 GB SSD.
Service Torrent node accepts incoming information and transmits data between #MetaGate and other nodes maintaining long-distance connections. The main function of this role is to accumulate data concerning transactions and users balances and to distribute this information further.

So, our network needs only two roles more to reach decentralization: Verification and Core node!
